The Atlantis MINI-Q II represents the next generation in MINI-Q technology from BrainMaster. Designed to save valuable time, this device serves as a hardware extension for the Atlantis 2×2 and 4×4 devices. It provides automatic control of sensor site selection, along with software support for session control and data collection. The MINI-Q II utilizes a standard 19 or 20 channel ElectroCap or compatible headgear. Up to 20 channels can be gathered on a 4×4 device in half the time it takes with a 2-channel device. This feature offers built-in data analysis, normative assessments, topographic maps, and connectivity maps, with optional NeuroGuide software. With the Atlantis 4×4, users can collect 19 channels in just five passes, enabling comprehensive whole-head assessment information.
With the MINI-Q II, users can acquire 2 or 4 selectable channels of EEG for assessment or training purposes. This functionality is particularly beneficial for Live Z Score %ZOK Training. This allows for a quick and accurate sensor site selection. Users can create full-head topographic maps using either a 2-channel or 4-channel Atlantis device, a capability not available with the standard MINI-Q. The MINI-Q II features 8 positions and can switch between 2 or 4 channels per position.
A 2-channel device can gather standard 12-channel data from Fz, Cz, F3, F4, C3, C4, P3, P4, T3, T4, O1, and O2 for direct analysis or integration with third-party software. Additionally, the MINI-Q II can collect 16 homologous sites from a 2-channel device, generating topographic maps using NeuroGuide 2.4 for later use. When paired with a 4-channel device, the MINI-Q II collects data in half the time, allowing for more comprehensive coverage. It can also produce full 19 or 20-channel assessments using the MINI-Q II with the Atlantis 4×4.
Advanced MINI-Q support is available in the 3.0 software, including the new optional Session Wizard, which offers advanced session design functions. Users can now design sessions with variable run lengths, automated user-programmable prompts and pauses, and real-time control of signal processing and feedback. You can combine assessment and neurofeedback training in complex sessions that effectively manage both the user interface and signal processing. The built-in EEG data analysis and statistical recording operate fully automated, eliminating the need for user intervention. The MINI-Q I and MINI-Q II come with an optional license for the Session Wizard software. Keep in mind that this unit does not function independently; it must be used alongside BrainMaster Atlantis units.
